Batman: The Brave & The Bold is a better animated series than some might want to admit. Yes it is a campy Batman, but it’s a serious take on campiness. While you have some episodes like Aquaman’s Outrages adventure! Which is not all that serious, and then you also have episodes like Sidekicks Assemble! The Goldenage of Justice! And The Chill of the Night! That proves just how serious and in some cases dark, that this series can be.

The series does an awesome job of combining Modern Age comics to Silver and Golden age. From modern day Huntress, to Silverage Green Arrow. Even using Earth-2 Robin’s outfit before Dick becomes Nightwing. The three merge together perfectly and proves that everything can co-exist without trying to re-luanch anything to get people interested.

All in all this season improves greatly over the first and it only gets better. It’s a great family show that Batman fans of all ages can enjoy.
